Feather and Stone Necklace and Bracelet

These commission pieces were inspired by our Canadian Native American culture.  They have a spiritual earth feel made with warm, rich colours and earthy elements. 

 The necklace is made with wood, stone and clay beads attached to a brown leather cord fastened with a loop and wood bead. A partridge feather has been wrapped in non-tarnish silver wire and hangs from a round wood pendant wrapped in silk threads.

 

The bracelet is made with stone and wood beads, accented by silver caps and attached to dark brown cording with a brown button to fasten.

Namaste Necklace

An adjustable necklace that's designed to flows with you own energy patterns.  A handmade silver tone clay pendants hangs from an adjustable black leather cord.  $26.95

Namaste is a Sanskrit word. In recent times the term "namaste" has come to be associated with yoga, spirituality and meditation. It means "I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me." or "The God in me salutes the God within you." It is used as a greeting.

Girlfriend Gratitude Birthday Hat

L is for Lisa

I love making my friends feel special on their birthdays.  Making this pretty little number, was my way of expressing a little "girlfriend gratitude".  Sure, I could have saved time (3 hours to be exact) by taking a trip downtown and buying her a factory made hat.  The truth is, I was more than happy to take the time and make the effort to make something special for her, a gift that could only come from me. 

 

The perfect opportunity to send out a special birthday wish just for her...to always be surrounded by good friends!

And the second part to that wish is "Abundance and Love"!

 Me and a few of my closest girlyfriends...can you guess which one is Lisa?  A little birdie told me she wore her fancy party hat to the office that day!  I'm so thankful i was able to give her a little special sparkle on her day!

Razzle Dazzle Necklace

 A "razzle-dazzle" piece for a day or evening look.

This is a commissioned piece done for a vibrant creative spirit.  She's very artistic and loves color.  Her wish was to have a whimsical piece of jewelry that was fun and youthful.  I feel I've captured this in my design. This necklace can be worn long or wrapped around for a chunkier more dramatic look. 

To create this little lovely I have woven together variegated soft fuzzy blue yarn, silk embroidery threads, glass beads, an exotic flower brooch, with soft flowing petals attached and a modge podged hand painted Paris France button as a clasp.
