Hand-tied Button Fringe Scarf

I made this soft, hand-tied scarf with multipal shades & textures throughout. I've attached a few buttons here and there to add some interest. It is a fun and lovely homage to the outdoors at about 5 feet long. This scarf is gorgeous without being suffocating and is the perfect length to dangle down to the waist like a rock star or bundle around the neck to really set off facial features.

These scarves make perfect gifts for those special ladies in your life!  If you're interested in placing an order please email me and I'll have it ready for you within two days:)

Rustic Wire Wrapped Necklace (SOLD)

I placed an order the other day for some new bead n'such as my supply is beginning to run low.    This little pretty was inspired by the need to use what supplies I had on hand and to think outside of the box.  I've put together some small and large glass bead, vintage buttons, copper rounds and dark brown wire wrapped this way and that.  I think this has to be one of my favorite pieces!

A little Silver Eye Candy!

Mod Podge Card Tin

When I started playing Rumoli with the girls once a month we all started out using boring old plastic containers for our nickels.  One night I challenged all the girls to make up some creative little containers for their winnings.  This is what I came up with, a tea tin covered in a vintage music sheet with decorative paper sayings mod podged to it.

If you want to see more of my mod podge art pieces go to Paintings listed under Labels.

Nothing Like a Hand Written Letter

I don't know about you but when I sell a painting to someone I like knowing that the person who's buying it will cherish it as much as I do. After reading Pamela's letter I know it's gone to a good home.
Pamela was travelling through our Wilderness City and stopped in at the Naked North Gallery this summer on her way home from a camping trip with her family. She spotted one of my collages and fell in love with it. When she got home she found the perfect spot for it in her home and called me last week to have it shipped to her home in Thunder Bay. I received this lovely letter along with her cheque neatly tucked inside. Thanks Pamela :)

Wire Wrapped Jewelry

My wire wrapped rings have taken off really well at the Naked North Gallery and I've been having such fun putting them together. All my pieces are tarnish resistant and can be made to fit any size and in any colour.
This romantic pearl necklace is made from gunmetal components and wire. Gunmetal is a new favorite of mine. I've always been partial to anything vintage and this finish gives my pieces the old world feel we all love.  SOLD

Liberty Freedom Joy Unity Strength SOLD

I hope you like my pretty little choker. As with many of my other pieces I've added a simple button , a silver charm and link salvaged from an old watch to add charm and pretty up the simple link chain. As you know I'm a fan of pairing pearls and silver together...the raw pearl and silver heart charm with a pendant that reads Liberty, Freedom, Joy, Unity and Strength all seemed to just fit together.
