Travelling Chick Adventures!
Most evenings I try and get out for a walk with one of my friends or my dog! On some of these walks we happen upon some really interesting finds. Tonight one of my favourite chicks and I ventured out on this beautiful evening. Spring is in the air and the snow is beginning to melt. After dressing in layer upon layer throughout the winter to ward off the -20 degree weather we feel almost 10 pounds lighter dressed in our sweats and fleece sweaters. Not long after we started out on our venture we came across a damsel in distress. Her van was stuck in the melting snow and slush and with each push on the gas peddle she only sunk in deeper. The odd part about this scene was as she struggled to get her vehicle out she had two men standing at the top of her driveway with hands on hips watching her in disbelief. My girlfriend approached the vehicle and offered to give her a push. After seeing this, one of the men came waltzing up to the vehicle and offered to get in and drive while my girlfriend pushed (I would have offered my help as well but I have a pinched nerve and the thought of the pain seemed unbearable). To make matters worse, an old man came out of his house and started pushing as well. Within minutes, the van was out but I ask you, what is wrong with this picture? Makes me appreciate the husband I have, it would be a cold day in @#!! before he let a women do a mans job. Well I'm signing off for now. Until next time keep those driveways shoveled!
