G'Saling with my Hubby

yaaaawwwwwwwn"honey what time is it"? DH says "6:00 a.m. go back to sleep it's Saturday"! eyes fly open... it's Saturday! how is one to sleep when there are treasures waiting to be found? my feet drop to the floor and I do the usual Saturday morning ritual of brushing my teeth, making coffee and checking out the yard sale advertisements. yippeeee there's two pages of them and i can't wait to get started but it's only 6:20, the first sale doesn't start until 7:30 am. hmmmm this gives me plenty of time to drink my coffee and make a strategically planned out route. tic toc tic toc goes the clock~i walk upstairs to our room to grab a sweater, it's a bit chilly out this morning! DH stirs a bit in his sleep..."oops did i wake you"? he turns over in bed and throws the blankets over his head with a sigh and i say "well seeing as you're up, do you wanna come garage saling with your lovely wife"? surprisingly he slowly sits up and says "sure"! o.k. I'm speechless here~what the heck has happened to my DH? normally he would have looked at me like i was crazy and went right back to sleep or at least he would have pretended he was asleep! i like this new guy:) "let's get going then... the first one starts in 10 minutes!!!! we pull up to the first house a 7:30 sharp and the rest is history. I did get some great deals today though, seven brand new canvases still in the packaging ~$4.00 beautiful china sugar bowls...these will be perfect for the bird feeders I've been planning to make for the gallery $10.00 great charms and bead $.75 spending the morning with my DH PRICELESS. you know what this means though...i have to get to work and start making more arts and crafts... that's what Sundays are for!
